Catfish's tire #curse continues. In case you were curious as to what we may talk about in future episodes.

Thanks everyone who has donated to my @Movember campaign! Sorry the updates have been limited. Here’s a lovely #sunrise #mustache to make up for it! Donation link in bio.

Episode #29, "Election Anxiety," is now available for your listening pleasure.  Find it on all of the podcasting apps and things.

This is not the first time Carl and Catfish have released an episode they recorded a few weeks prior to its release.  But this is the first time they’ve bungled a topical event.  Oopsie?

In this episode, the boys discuss their anxieties around election time. Oh, the joy of new polling rules and locations, interacting with well-meaning volunteers, and remembering all those ballot measures. Sure, you could vote early, but what if it ends up provisional? And does your vote even really count?

You know what?  Maybe it’s better this came out after the election, that way their anxieties didn’t cause you anxiety.  In fact, let’s just say that this was a completely deliberate move.  You’re welcome, listeners.

Finally, the affirmation comes from a long-time listener and really strikes a chord with Catfish.

Episode #28, "Affirmation Power Hour!," is now available for your listening [legally, we can’t call it “pleasure”].  Find it on all of the podcasting apps and things.

For this B-B-B-B-B-BONUS episode, Carl and Catfish turn an eye towards their most popular segment, Affirmations (or some other BS), and make an entire episode out of it.

Each and every minute, for 60 minutes, Carl and Catfish will each share an affirmation (or some other BS.)  What could go wrong?  How do they do!?  And how do they do it?!  Obviously, I know the answer to at least one of those questions, but if you want that knowledge, yer gonna have to listen

Episode #27, "Thanks fer nuthin," is now available for your listening pleasure.  Find it on all of the podcasting apps and things.

For this episode, Carl and Catfish follow in the grand tradition of ye olde holiday episode.  You won’t believe the shenanigans they get up to!  They did WHAT with the turkey?!?!?!?!

Now, obviously, our American fans know that this is Thanksgiving week.  Our Canadian fans, however, are very confused (but still polite).  This is when real Thanksgiving is, Canucks.

Listen as the boys chat about Turkey Day loneliness and obligation anxiety along with unrelated nonsense.

And we’ve got an affirmation submitted by, what sounds like, a real fart-knuckle of a listener.

You know the drill by now: make sure you #subscribe to and #rate the podcast on the apps and the things. Tell your friends and acquaintances.

Stop Hating Yourself LIVE

Sunday, January 13th – 3pm at Club Congress

(as part of the 2019 Tucson Fringe Festival)

The Stop Hating Yourself podcast is the world’s first self-help podcast where the hosts, Catfish Baruni (6x Tucson Fringe performer) and Carl Case (6x James Gang concert attendee), focus exclusively on helping themselves while entertaining you, the audience. Watch as Carl and Catfish leave the safety and comfort of their studio and bring their own brand of humor and irreverence to the stage as they explore their respective mental health journeys.  Laugh along with the boys while they dissect popular affirmations, assertions, and aphorisms and break down the stigma of mental illness in a candid and hilarious manner.

A one-time $3 fee is required to attend the Tucson Fringe Festival.
If you've already purchased the Fringe Button, admission to the
live recording of Stop Hating Yourself is free.  If you have not
purchased the button, you will need to do so to be able to attend.

Neither Carl nor Catfish receive any of this scratch

Wow, thanks, everyone! #2000plays

@movember day 12! Let go of some guilt today...

Episode #26, "Listen to the Sound of my Voice," is now available for your listening pleasure.  Find it on all of the podcasting apps and things.

For this episode, Carl and Catfish return to what they do best: reaching a big, meaty mitt into a fishbowl and pulling out a scrap of paper  But what’s on the paper?  WHAT’S ON THE PAPER???

Oh, it was just a topic to discuss on this, the twenty-sixth episode of their podcast.  I was worried it was going to be a drawing of Gwyneth Paltrow’s noggin.

Also, I’m having trouble writing this because I’m in denial about the right side of my keyboard failing.  It took me several attempts to get that P in “Paltrow.”  The P is especially performing poorly.

Somehow, Carl manages to force even more structure on the episode, whilst Catfish is duly impressed.

You don’t believe that the Fishman has the capacity to be impressed and amazed?!  Well, you know there’s only one way to freaking find out: YA GOTTA LISTEN, BABY!!!!

#sunset @movember moment on day 5. Chef Jeff the chef Karen does not find it cute. It isn’t about cuteness, chef, it is about healthiness!

📯Episode #25, "State of the Hate," is now available for your listening pleasure.  You just KNOW you can find it on all of the podcasting apps and things.

📯As far as milestones go, this is one: 25 EPISODES OF A PODCAST (including the bonus episode.) If episodes were years (and not just episodes), this podcast would be a quarter of the way to be a big, bad century.

📯 In this episode, Carl and Catfish dig down and discuss the State of the “Hate” after 25 whole episodes.  Listen along and hear what they like, what they want more of, and how much they love the audience.

📯Yes, the audience, you folks, listeners, who listen to the episodes. They love you (even if Catfish still won't say “the l-word”.)

📯The boys also share a pretty big announcement at the end of the episode. Maybe be on the lookout for... A BRAND NEW BABY BROTHER!!!

📯You know the drill by now: make sure you #subscribe to and #rate the podcast on the apps and the things. Tell your friends and acquaintances. But, you know who we never tell? That's right: Fishmom.
